The F connector is a coaxial RF connector widely used for cable television, satellite television, and broadband internet applications. It features a threaded coupling mechanism that ensures a secure and reliable connection, minimizing signal loss and interference. Typically available in 75 ohm impedance, F connectors support frequencies up to several GHz, making them ideal for high-frequency video and data transmission,MRI, CT, and ultrasound imaging devices and Railway communications and signaling systems . They are easy to install and compatible with standard RG-6 and RG-59 coaxial cables. F connectors come in male and female versions and are commonly used in residential, commercial, and broadcast systems for consistent and durable signal connections.
The cylindrical coaxial contact delivers excellent RF performance along with smooth insertion and withdrawal.
Available in multiple PCB mount styles-including surface mount, edge mount, straight, and right-angle meeting diverse application requirements.;
Supports conductor sizes from 0.022 to 0.042 inches (0.559 to 1.067mm).
A single connector design accommodates a broad range of cable sizes, helping reduce part numbers and simplify inventory management.

Regular models require 15 days, while some complex connectors require 25 days.
Most RF connectors are CNC-machined parts and do not require mold-making.
However, each part needs to be fine-tuned on the CNC machine. Typically, a single sample costs $200.
This fee will be refunded after a 5K bulk order.
Brass RF connectors come with a one-year warranty.
Stainless steel connectors come with a three-year warranty.
The lifespan also depends on the contact material beryllium contacts offer better durability.
Our products fully comply with ROHS & REACH regulations.

They are often used interchangeably. However: Coaxial connector refers to the physical design (shielded cylindrical form). RF connector emphasizes its use in radio-frequency applications. Most RF connectors are coaxial.
Reverse polarity means the gender of the center pin is swapped while keeping the outer body style unchanged. It was introduced to comply with regulatory requirements in Wi-Fi devices and to prevent connection with standard SMA/TNC.
Connector durability is rated in mating cycles: General-purpose connectors (BNC, SMA): 500 cycles. Precision connectors (2.92 mm, 2.4 mm): 500 cycles or less. Rugged telecom connectors (N, 7/16 DIN): 500 cycles.
