type-F Connector Female Panel Mount For PCB

The F connector is a coaxial RF connector widely used for cable television, satellite television, and broadband internet applications. It features a threaded coupling mechanism that ensures a secure and reliable connection, minimizing signal loss and interference. Typically available in 75 ohm impedance, F connectors support frequencies up to several GHz, making them ideal for high-frequency video and data transmission, towers, repeaters, routers, and access points for reliable RF signal transfer and 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, and satellite communication systems . They are easy to install and compatible with standard RG-6 and RG-59 coaxial cables. F connectors come in male and female versions and are commonly used in residential, commercial, and broadcast systems for consistent and durable signal connections.

FAQ

Sample Delivery Time

Regular models require 15 days, while some complex connectors require 25 days.

Sample Fee

Most RF connectors are CNC-machined parts and do not require mold-making.

However, each part needs to be fine-tuned on the CNC machine. Typically, a single sample costs $200.

This fee will be refunded after a 5K bulk order.

Guarantee

Brass RF connectors come with a one-year warranty.

Stainless steel connectors come with a three-year warranty.

The lifespan also depends on the contact material  beryllium contacts offer better durability.

ROHS & REACH Compliance

Our products fully comply with ROHS & REACH regulations.

Does LENORF Offer Military-Grade Products?

Yes. We are honored to provide military-grade products with exceptionally stable quality.

MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)

Body: Brass, stainless steel

Insulator: PTFE, PEEK

Contacts: Brass, phosphor bronze, beryllium copper

Other: Aluminum, titanium alloy

What’s the lifespan of an RF connector?

Connector durability is rated in mating cycles: General-purpose connectors (BNC, SMA): 500 cycles. Precision connectors (2.92 mm, 2.4 mm): 500 cycles or less. Rugged telecom connectors (N, 7/16 DIN): 500 cycles.

Can RF connectors be reused?

Yes, but performance degrades with wear. Precision connectors (used in test equipment) should be handled carefully—damage to threads or pins increases VSWR and insertion loss.

What’s the difference between threaded, bayonet, and push-on RF connectors?

Threaded (SMA, N, TNC): Secure, vibration-resistant. Bayonet (BNC): Quick connect/disconnect. Push-on (MCX, SMP): Ultra-fast, compact, used in high-density modules.

Are RF connectors interchangeable between brands?

Yes, if they follow the same standard (e.g., SMA-to-SMA). However, tolerances, plating, and dielectric quality vary — mixing low-quality and precision connectors can damage equipment.
