Mini-UHF Jack Crimp Right Angle Solder Cup Connector, Nickel-Plated Brass, Rugged Type for Satellite, GPS, Radio, and Communication Equipment

The UHF connector is a threaded RF coaxial connector widely used in radio frequency applications up to approximately 300 MHz. It features a simple threaded coupling mechanism that provides a reliable mechanical connection, though it is not ideal for very high-frequency use due to higher signal reflection at GHz ranges. UHF connectors are commonly available in 50 ohm and 75 ohm versions and are frequently used in amateur radio, CB radio, and older RF communication systems. They are valued for their ease of installation, Smart meters and remote monitoring devices,Wireless sensor networks and IoT gateways, robust construction, and suitability for low- to mid-frequency applications where durability and cost-effectiveness are key.

FAQ

Sample Delivery Time

Regular models require 15 days, while some complex connectors require 25 days.

Sample Fee

Most RF connectors are CNC-machined parts and do not require mold-making.

However, each part needs to be fine-tuned on the CNC machine. Typically, a single sample costs $200.

This fee will be refunded after a 5K bulk order.

Guarantee

Brass RF connectors come with a one-year warranty.

Stainless steel connectors come with a three-year warranty.

The lifespan also depends on the contact material  beryllium contacts offer better durability.

ROHS & REACH Compliance

Our products fully comply with ROHS & REACH regulations.

Does LENORF Offer Military-Grade Products?

Yes. We are honored to provide military-grade products with exceptionally stable quality.

MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)

Regular connectors: 500 PCS

Adapters: 100 PCS

Military connectors: 100 PCS

Materials

Common materials include:

Body: Brass, stainless steel

Insulator: PTFE, PEEK

Contacts: Brass, phosphor bronze, beryllium copper

Other: Aluminum, titanium alloy

Are RF connectors weatherproof?

Some RF connectors are designed with gaskets and sealing (e.g., N-type, 4.3-10) for outdoor telecom, antennas, and harsh environments. Indoor lab connectors (e.g., SMA, BNC) are usually not weatherproof unless specified.

What’s the difference between male and female RF connectors?

Male: Has a center pin and usually an outer thread or bayonet. Female: Has a receptacle (socket) for the center pin and matching thread. Some connectors (like SMA) can be confusing because “reverse polarity” (RP-SMA) swaps pin/socket configuration.

What is VSWR, and why does it matter?

VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) indicates signal reflection. Ideal: 1.0 (perfect match). Lower VSWR means less signal loss and distortion.

What are typical applications of RF connectors?

Telecom (5G, LTE, satellite) Aerospace & defense (radar, avionics, secure comms) Test & measurement (network/spectrum analyzers) Broadcast & video distribution Automotive radar and IoT devices Medical imaging & equipment
