The QMA connector is a quick-lock 50 Ohm RF coaxial interface designed as a faster, easier alternative to the traditional SMA connector. Featuring a snap-on coupling mechanism, QMA connectors allow tool-less installation and 360° rotation after mating, providing exceptional flexibility for cable routing and dense RF module layouts. With similar internal dimensions and electrical performance to SMA, the QMA ensures low VSWR, excellent shielding effectiveness, and stable signal transmission up to 18 GHz. The compact design eliminates the need for wrench clearance, enabling higher connector density and faster assembly in field or production environments. Typical applications include base stations, antennas, wireless modules, test systems, and industrial communication equipment where quick, reliable RF connections are required.
Frequency range: DC-18 GHz
Impedance: 50 Ohm precision interface
Quick-lock push-on coupling for fast connection/disconnection
360° rotatable after mating for flexible cable routing
Low VSWR and low insertion loss, equivalent to SMA performance
Compact size for high-density installations
Gold-plated contacts and brass/stainless-steel housing for corrosion resistance
Available in straight, right-angle, panel-mount, and PCB-mount versions
Ideal for telecom, test, IoT, and RF module applications
Telecom equipment
Broadcast

Regular models require 15 days, while some complex connectors require 25 days.
Most RF connectors are CNC-machined parts and do not require mold-making.
However, each part needs to be fine-tuned on the CNC machine. Typically, a single sample costs $200.
This fee will be refunded after a 5K bulk order.
Brass RF connectors come with a one-year warranty.
Stainless steel connectors come with a three-year warranty.
The lifespan also depends on the contact material beryllium contacts offer better durability.
Our products fully comply with ROHS & REACH regulations.
Yes. We are honored to provide military-grade products with exceptionally stable quality.
Regular connectors: 500 PCS
Adapters: 100 PCS
Military connectors: 100 PCS
They are often used interchangeably. However: Coaxial connector refers to the physical design (shielded cylindrical form). RF connector emphasizes its use in radio-frequency applications. Most RF connectors are coaxial.
Common materials include:
Body: Brass, stainless steel
Insulator: PTFE, PEEK
Contacts: Brass, phosphor bronze, beryllium copper
Other: Aluminum, titanium alloy
Reverse polarity means the gender of the center pin is swapped while keeping the outer body style unchanged. It was introduced to comply with regulatory requirements in Wi-Fi devices and to prevent connection with standard SMA/TNC.
Connector durability is rated in mating cycles: General-purpose connectors (BNC, SMA): 500 cycles. Precision connectors (2.92 mm, 2.4 mm): 500 cycles or less. Rugged telecom connectors (N, 7/16 DIN): 500 cycles.
Yes, but performance degrades with wear. Precision connectors (used in test equipment) should be handled carefully - damage to threads or pins increases VSWR and insertion loss.
