2.92mm Plug To Plug Adapter

The 2.92mm connector was designed for usage at frequencies up to 40 GHz. IEC 60169-35 interface To guarantee that the outside contacts of the male and female connections meet before the pin and female receptacle, the male pin is shorter than that of a SMA or 3.5mm. This prevents excessive wear and mating stress caused by misalignment in a SMA or 3.5mm connector. Additionally, the 2.92mm connector has a larger wall than a conventional SMA connector. SMA and 3.5mm connections can be used with the 2.92mm series.
