1.6/5.6 Connector Plug Right Angle Clamping For Flex2 Coaxial Cable

The 1.6-5.6 series is a miniature European design that allows for dense connector packing, making it ideal for tight-fitting applications. In the 1.6-5.6 product range, there are threaded and push-pull couplings available. Assembly is quick and easy due to the crimp termination. The LenoRF 1.6-5.6 series uses a 75 ohm impedance up to 1 GHz. This series complies with all of the following standards: DIN 47295, DIN 41626, DIN 47297, NFC 93-569, NFC 93-570, IEC 169-13, and CECC 22230.

Overview

The 1.6/5.6 connector series is a compact European design optimized for high-density installations, making it well-suited for applications where space is limited, such as radar systems, avionics, and navigation equipment and electronic warfare, military radios, and secure communication links. Designed to operate at 75 ohms up to 1 GHz, this series is available in two coupling styles: threaded for secure, reliable mating, and push-pull for fast, convenient connections.

The 1.6/5.6 series meets multiple international standards, including DIN 47295, DIN 41626, DIN 47297, NFC 93-569, NFC 93-570, IEC 169-13, and CECC 22230.

FAQ

Sample Delivery Time

Regular models require 15 days, while some complex connectors require 25 days.

Sample Fee

Most RF connectors are CNC-machined parts and do not require mold-making.

However, each part needs to be fine-tuned on the CNC machine. Typically, a single sample costs $200.

This fee will be refunded after a 5K bulk order.

Guarantee

Brass RF connectors come with a one-year warranty.

Stainless steel connectors come with a three-year warranty.

The lifespan also depends on the contact material  beryllium contacts offer better durability.

ROHS & REACH Compliance

Our products fully comply with ROHS & REACH regulations.

Does LENORF Offer Military-Grade Products?

Yes. We are honored to provide military-grade products with exceptionally stable quality.

What’s the difference between threaded, bayonet, and push-on RF connectors?

Threaded (SMA, N, TNC): Secure, vibration-resistant. Bayonet (BNC): Quick connect/disconnect. Push-on (MCX, SMP): Ultra-fast, compact, used in high-density modules.

Are RF connectors interchangeable between brands?

Yes, if they follow the same standard (e.g., SMA-to-SMA). However, tolerances, plating, and dielectric quality vary — mixing low-quality and precision connectors can damage equipment.

How do environmental conditions affect RF connectors?

Temperature extremes can cause expansion/shrinkage and change performance. Humidity and salt spray may cause corrosion (use stainless steel or weatherproof designs). Vibration may loosen bayonet types — use threaded connectors in harsh environments.

Can RF connectors be adapted from one type to another?

Yes, RF adapters (e.g., SMA-to-N, BNC-to-TNC) exist. But:Each adapter adds insertion loss and possible VSWR increase.Avoid stacking multiple adapters in sensitive applications.
