The SMP RF Connector is a compact, high-performance connector designed for high-frequency applications up to 40 GHz. With push-on and snap-on mating, it ensures durability and ease of use in RF systems.
High-Frequency Performance: Supports frequencies from DC to 40 GHz.
Compact & Lightweight: Ideal for miniaturized RF systems.
Push-On & Snap-On Coupling: Allows easy mating and demating, reducing wear.
Multiple Engagement Options: Standard, Limited Detent, and Full Detent for varying retention forces.
Good Tolerance Compensation: Allows misalignment in board-to-board connections.
Durable Materials: Typically made from gold-plated beryllium copper (BeCu) or stainless steel.
Military & Aerospace Systems (e.g., radar, avionics, SATCOM)
High-Speed Telecommunications (e.g., 5G, RF backhaul, network infrastructure)
Test & Measurement Equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes)
Medical Imaging & Devices (e.g., MRI, ultrasound systems)
Automotive Radar & ADAS (e.g., self-driving vehicle sensors)

Regular models require 15 days, while some complex connectors require 25 days.
Most RF connectors are CNC-machined parts and do not require mold-making.
However, each part needs to be fine-tuned on the CNC machine. Typically, a single sample costs $200.
This fee will be refunded after a 5K bulk order.
Brass RF connectors come with a one-year warranty.
Stainless steel connectors come with a three-year warranty.
The lifespan also depends on the contact material beryllium contacts offer better durability.
Our products fully comply with ROHS & REACH regulations.
Yes. We are honored to provide military-grade products with exceptionally stable quality.
Regular connectors: 500 PCS
Adapters: 100 PCS
Military connectors: 100 PCS
Common materials include:
Body: Brass, stainless steel
Insulator: PTFE, PEEK
Contacts: Brass, phosphor bronze, beryllium copper
Other: Aluminum, titanium alloy
Some RF connectors are designed with gaskets and sealing (e.g., N-type, 4.3-10) for outdoor telecom, antennas, and harsh environments. Indoor lab connectors (e.g., SMA, BNC) are usually not weatherproof unless specified.
Male: Has a center pin and usually an outer thread or bayonet. Female: Has a receptacle (socket) for the center pin and matching thread. Some connectors (like SMA) can be confusing because “reverse polarity” (RP-SMA) swaps pin/socket configuration.
VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) indicates signal reflection. Ideal: 1.0 (perfect match). Lower VSWR means less signal loss and distortion.
